PHP Developer - Walk-In Interview

Blazingcoders is looking for a skilled PHP Developer with 2–5 years of experience to build and maintain dynamic web applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, front-end developers, and QA teams to deliver scalable and high-performance web solutions. Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, database management, and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications with clean and efficient code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with server-side functionality.
• Convert Figma or design prototypes into responsive and fully functional web pages.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, including writing optimized queries and maintaining data integrity.
• Write reusable and maintainable object-oriented PHP code following MVC architecture.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot application issues and debug performance-related problems.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication, input validation, and data protection.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high development standards.
• Suggest improvements to existing applications to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8) with good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases with optimized query writing.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and web application development practices.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in PHP web development.
• Strong interest in coding, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
