PHP Developer - Walk-In Interview

Job Summary:
Blazingcoders is hiring an experienced PHP Developer (2–5 years) to design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications. The candidate will collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance web solutions. Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in modern PHP frameworks and database management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications, ensuring robust and efficient code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with server-side logic.
• Convert Figma or design prototypes into functional, responsive web pages.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, including queries, optimization, and data integrity.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable object-oriented PHP code following MVC architecture.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services into web applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues, identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure application security, including input validation, authentication, and data protection.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Suggest improvements for existing web applications to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience.

Required Skills (10 Points):

• Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8, with solid OOP knowledge.
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Expertise in MySQL or other relational databases and writing optimized queries.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of MVC design patterns and web application architecture.
• Experience in unit testing, debugging, and application optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for scalable web solutions.
• Good communication skills in Tamil & English and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant PHP development experience.
• Passionate about coding, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
