Roles and Responsibilities

As a Front-End Developer at Blazingcoders, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and optimizing the client-side of web applications. Your goal is to ensure that users enjoy a seamless and engaging experience when interacting with our platforms.

1. Web Development

• Convert UI/UX wireframes and mockups into responsive web pages.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop interactive and dynamic features that enhance user experience.

2. Frameworks and Libraries

• Work with front-end frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Implement reusable components and manage state effectively.
• Ensure seamless integration with APIs and backend systems.

3. Responsive and Cross-Browser Design

• Create layouts that work smoothly across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Optimize applications for different browsers and platforms.
• Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are followed for inclusive design.

4. Collaboration and Teamwork

• Work closely with designers to understand design requirements.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end features.
• Participate in project planning, sprint reviews, and daily standups.

5. Performance Optimization

• Monitor and improve front-end performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Use best practices for minimizing load times, caching, and code splitting.
• Debug and resolve front-end issues promptly.

6. Testing and Quality Assurance

• Write unit tests for components using tools like Jest or Mocha.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure flawless performance.
• Identify bugs and fix them efficiently.

7. Continuous Learning and Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest web technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Suggest improvements to enhance user experience and code quality.
• Experiment with modern techniques like Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Core Skills: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Frameworks: Exposure to React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Design: Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Debugging: Basic knowledge of browser developer tools for debugging.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Preferred (Good to Have) Skills

• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of package managers like npm or yarn.
• Exposure to build tools (Webpack, Gulp, or Parcel).
• Awareness of Agile methodologies and Scrum process.
