PHP Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled PHP Developer with 1–2 years of experience in web development to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications while ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic websites and web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following development best practices.
• Work with MySQL databases, including database design, queries, and optimization.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Build and maintain backend functionality, APIs, and database integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services as required.
• Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and other team members to deliver quality projects.
• Maintain and update existing websites based on business requirements.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and project documentation procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP technologies, web development tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in PHP development.

• Strong knowledge of Core PHP and MySQL.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Experience in database management, SQL queries, and database optimization.
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integration.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
