Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PHP Developer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in building high-quality, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing PHP-based solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-performing applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Web Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
• Integrate front-end elements using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.

2. Database Management:

• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL or other relational databases for performance and scalability.
• Create complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and backup strategies.

3. API Development and Integration:

• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external services.
• Ensure seamless data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues efficiently.

4. Code Maintenance and Debugging:

• Maintain and improve existing applications for performance, security, and reliability.
• Identify and fix bugs through effective debugging and testing.
• Participate in peer code reviews to uphold code quality standards.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and deployment steps.

6. Testing and Deployment:

• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Deploy applications on AWS, Azure, or shared hosting environments.
• Continuously optimize applications for speed and scalability.

7.Security and Best Practices:

• Follow secure coding practices and defend against vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, and SQL Injection.
• Stay up to date with emerging PHP trends, tools, and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Core PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony frameworks.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimization.
• Experience with API development/integration.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Working knowledge of Apache or Nginx servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
